Remittances to Georgia rise 10% yr/yr to $208 mln in July-National Bank
Remittances to Georgia rose 10.4 percent year-on-year to $208.4 million in July, the country’s National Bank said.
Russia ranks first with $40.1 million of money transfers, followed by Italy ($33.3 million) and the United States ($25.5 million).
In July 2021, $26.7 million were sent abroad from Georgia, which is 19.9 percent more than a year ago.
