Kazakhstan’s capital attracts over $1.2 bln of investment in January-July
Kazakhstan’s capital Nur-Sultan has attracted over 504 billion tenge ($1.2 billion) in January-July, 9 percent up from the same period last year, local media reported citing the capital’s mayor Altai Kulginov.
“Despite the pandemic, both last year and this year, we managed to increase the volume of investment,” Kulginov said.
Investment in the capital’s development amounted to over 1 trillion tenge in 2020 and included over 150 projects in medicine, education, logistics and trade, industry, sports, electricity, which created more than 18,000 jobs.
