The draft State Budget for 2022, which will be approved at a government meeting tomorrow, has been drawn up with a deficit of 3.5% of gross domestic product.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, this was stated at a press conference by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal.
“The budget deficit is decreasing. This year it was 5.5%, in 2022 we plan 3.5%, as agreed with the IMF, and this is our strategy to reduce the deficit … Key indicators. Budget revenues – 1 trillion 277 billion , this is plus 161 billion to last year. Expenditures – 1 trillion 465 billion, plus 103 billion to last year. And the deficit in absolute terms is 188 billion, “he said.
According to him, about 70% of the state budget deficit is planned to be financed by domestic government bonds. Funds from cooperation with international organizations and the issuance of foreign government bonds are also planned.
Also, the draft state budget includes a minimum wage of UAH 6,500, an average monthly salary of UAH 15,258, and a dollar exchange rate of UAH 28.6-28.7.
