Careful preservation and enhancement of the historical, cultural and intellectual heritage, culture and traditions of the Uzbek people, widespread promotion of their achievements among the growing harmoniously developed generation remains one of the important tasks set by Presidents Sh. Mirziyoyev in front of the government of the country and in order to implement these instructions on September 15 this year in the Nurillaboy complex in Khiva, the ceremony of the official launch of the activities of the International Advisory Committee on Cultural Heritage in Uzbekistan was held.
The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov, Deputy Director of the World Heritage Center Zhoty Khosograkhar, Director of the International Research Center for the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM) Webber Ndoro, UNESCO Director in Uzbekistan Alexandros Makarigakis, representatives of the leadership regions where World Heritage Sites and Committee members are located.
