A conference of the Valdai International Discussion Club and the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “Russia and Uzbekistan facing the challenges of development and security at a new historical stage of interaction” has opened in Tashkent.
Among the Russian speakers who opened the event were Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Andrei Rudenko, Chairman of the Council of the Foundation for the Development and Support of the Valdai Club Andrei Bystritsky.
On behalf of the host, the participants were greeted by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Farkhod Arziev and Director of the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Eldor Aripov.
