A tea train from China arrived in Uzbekistan in mid-September. This is the first special composition launched to deliver tea from the Chinese tea-producing base Huangshan to Tashkent, Podrobno.uz correspondent reports citing Xinhua.

The first railway special flight from the city of Huangshan to Tashkent was launched at the end of August, it delivered 570 tons of green tea of ​​the Huangshan Best Organic Tea company to the capital of Uzbekistan, having covered over 5500 km for more than ten days.

“Against the background of a sharp jump in prices for transportation by sea, this overland logistics corridor provided us with an alternative route for export,” said Cheng Fushou, CEO of Huangshan Best Organic Tea, adding that his company is preparing a new batch from 15 standard green tea containers.
