President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi commented on the possibility of running for a second term.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, he stated this at a briefing in Truskavets.
“I have not decided anything about the second term. As for what I will leave when I fulfill all the promises, I said a little bit about something else … I said that if we do not work quickly, especially in the Verkhovna Rada, then we will not have time to do it”, – the president noted.
Zelensky stressed that he really wants to do everything he promised.
“But this also does not mean that if I manage to do it in four and a half years, I will leave six months before the end of my term. I will definitely work until the end,” the head of state assured.
As UNIAN reported earlier, speaking to the “servants of the people” in Truskavets, the president spoke ambiguously about the timing of his tenure.
