Ukraine inflation quickens to 11% yr/yr in September-Statistics Service
Inflation in Ukraine climbed to 11 percent year-on-year in September, up from 10.2 percent in August, the State Statistics Service said, following a trend of quickening price rises in recent months.
Consumer prices rose 1.2 percent month-on-month in September, up from 0.2 percent deflation in August this year and 0.5 percent inflation in September 2020. In January-September 2021, annual inflation was 9.0 percent, up from 8.7 percent in the first nine months of this year.
The central bank has forecast annual inflation in 2021 of 8 percent.
