The consumer price index rose by 10.9 percent year-on-year in October, down from 11 percent in September, the State Statistics Service said.

Consumer prices rose 0.9 percent month-on-month in October, down from 1.2 percent inflation in September this year and 1 percent in October 2020. In January-October 2021, annual inflation was 9.2 percent, up from 9 percent in the first nine months of this year.

The central bank has forecast annual inflation in 2021 of 8 percent.
