An extraordinary commission for combating air pollution has been established in Kyrgyzstan, headed by the mayor of the capital, Aibek Dzhunushaliev. This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet.
It is reported that the commission will promptly take urgent measures to protect the health of citizens, study the problems of air pollution in Bishkek and develop measures to solve them. It includes representatives of state bodies and local self-government bodies.
It is assumed that the establishment of a new commission will help the Cabinet to increase measures to protect the health of citizens, especially children, the elderly and people with chronic diseases, from the consequences of such pollution.
