Minister of Economy Alexander Chervyakov today met with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Belarus Ulvi Bakhshaliyev. During the one-hour conversation, a wide range of issues were touched upon, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Economy of Belarus.
The parties discussed in detail the emerging dynamics of mutual trade with an emphasis on the possibilities of its further growth.
The Minister of Economy proposed to increase the supply of Belarusian foodstuffs, engineering products, building materials and other goods. At the same time, Alexander Chervyakov noted the potential for cooperation in the service sector: tourism, logistics, trade, construction, in particular, participation in the construction of social facilities on the territory of Azerbaijan, etc.
In turn, according to the diplomat, the construction of agricultural towns using the Belarusian experience, as well as the expansion of joint ventures may be in demand in Azerbaijan.
The Ganja Automobile Plant and the Azerbaijan Trade House were named as examples of fruitful bilateral cooperation.
