On 22 November, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed an order “On organizational measures to develop a program of administrative reforms in New Uzbekistan for 2022-2023.”
In accordance with the document, the Republican Commission was formed to coordinate the development of the program of administrative reforms.
Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan Zainilobiddin Nizomiddinov headed the new commission.
Working groups are also being created, which are headed by ministers. The working groups will develop proposals on determining the status, improving the structures and optimization of the staffing units of government bodies, on the development of digital technologies, openness and public-private partnerships in the activities of government bodies, on improving their human resources, etc.
