Twenty insurance companies of Azerbaijan collected over 705 million manats ($415 million) in premiums in January-October, 12.3 percent up from the same period last year, the central bank said.

The payments made by insurance companies during the first ten months amounted to 401.2 million manats, 14.6 percent more than a year earlier.
