Georgia’s trade deficit at $5.184 bln in January-November of 2021-Statistics Office
Georgia’s trade deficit was $5.184 billion in January-November 2021, compared with $4.170 billion in the same period in 2020 and $4.567 billion in January-October this year, the National Statistics Office said.
The country’s trade turnover totalled $12.828, 25.2 percent more than in the first 11 months of 2020. In January-October of 2021, trade turnover was $11.352 billion.
Exports equalled $3.822 billion, 26.7 percent up from January-November 2020, while imports stood at $9.006 billion, 24.5 percent more than in the same period last year.
The country’s trade deficit in 2020 was $818.6 million, up from $790 million in 2019.
