The weighted average price of electricity in Ukraine on the day-ahead market (RND), which is the main benchmark for all market segments, increased by 17.1% over the month, to UAH 3,144 per MWh.

This is evidenced by the data of the state enterprise ” Market Operator “.

“The weighted average purchase and sale price of electricity at RDN in November 2021 is UAH 3,143.8 / MWh (excluding VAT). Compared to October this year, the price increased by 17.14%, from November 2020 – twice.” – reported in the company.

In addition, in November 2021, there was a shortage of supply at the RDN and the intraday market in the UES of Ukraine trade zone. At the same time, demand increased by 16.28% compared to October 2021, and compared to the same period last year – by 31.32%.

In the trade zone “Island of Burshtyn TPP” in November 2021 there was a shortage of supply, mainly during the evening maximum. Demand for RDN in Burshtyn Island increased by 15.23% compared to the previous month, and almost doubled compared to November 2020.
