The Central Bank of Uzbekistan will issue banknotes worth 50,000 soums and 100,000 soums.

The new banknotes will be issued on December 22, 2021.

According to the regulator, the theme of these banknotes is dedicated to the “Great Silk Road” and the ancient history of the Surkhandarya and Khorezm regions located on the territory of our state.

The banknotes are printed on security paper, the front and back sides are coated with a special varnish.

Banknote 50 000 soums: Size 147 x 69 mm.

On the right side of the banknote, there is a local watermark in the form of a camel – a symbol of the ancient “Great Silk Road” and a denomination of “50,000”.
