The mission of the collective peacekeeping forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has been completed in Kazakhstan. The withdrawal of military personnel of the collective peacekeeping forces is taking place in Almaty, Kazinform correspondent reports.
General Secretary of the CSTO Stanislav Zas, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan Major General Mukhamedzhan Talasov, and Akim Bakytzhan Sagintayev said that in a few January days Kazakhstan experienced the most severe crisis in its 30-year history of independence. The aggression simultaneously covered 11 regions of the country, but the main blow was directed against the city of Almaty.
