The international reserves of the Russian Federation as of December 31, 2021 increased by $ 0.1 billion (or 0.02%) and amounted to $ 630.6 billion, according to the materials of the Bank of Russia.

Reserves rose as a result of foreign exchange purchases under the fiscal rule, almost entirely offset by negative revaluation, the regulator said in a statement.
