The conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border occurred on January 27 in the area of Tort-Köchö, Batken region. Kyrgyz authorities claimed that citizens of the neighboring republic blocked the road that leads from Batken to Isfana. The border troops of Tajikistan assured that the clashes were provoked by the Kyrgyz side.
