The head of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev, said that no corridor to the Vorukh enclave would be provided. He told journalists about this on February 2 after a closed meeting of the parliament on the state border.
According to Tashiev, the deputies asked him if a corridor to the Vorukh enclave would be presented, according to the protocol.
“The project on the road from the eastern side of Ak-Sai village [in Batken region] will be agreed. We have to worry about the safety of the people of this village. On the construction of this road, the protocol clearly states: the status is determined by the state agreement between the two countries,” Tashiev said, answering questions from journalists.
The head of the State Committee for National Security also said that until this status is determined, there will be no road. Tashiev added that implementation mechanisms were introduced into Protocol No. 39, in which everything is provided for.
