A new all-season resort “Beldersay-Chimgan-Nanai” for 6,000 tourist places will be built in Chimgan. The cost of the project is $269 million, a Podrobno.uz correspondent reports, citing data from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
Within the framework of the project, more than 20 types of entertainment, cable cars (gondolas and chairlifts), various attractions (Zip line, Alpine coaster, Adventure tower, summer/winter Tubing) and 11 ski slopes with different levels of difficulty with with a total length of 20 km.
The tourist zone will consist of three stations, while the highest station, located at an altitude of 3309 meters, will be the highest point in the countries of Central Asia using a cable car. The master plan and economic model of the complex were developed by a consortium of French companies.
Funds of the French Treasury, direct foreign and local investments are invested in the project. The total amount of funds invested in the project will amount to $269 million.
