Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov met with Sergey Belyakov, Managing Director of the Russian marketplace Ozon. This was reported by MIA “Kazinform” with reference to the press service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The parties discussed the development of Ozon in Kazakhstan, as well as topical issues of interaction – taxation, electronic document management, etc.

“In Kazakhstan, as well as throughout the world, there is an active development of e-commerce and marketplaces, including international platforms. For Kazakh producers, this is a great opportunity to increase trade volumes and sales geography both within the country and in international markets,” Bakhyt Sultanov said.

Ozon’s activities in Kazakhstan will develop in two main directions: creating a logistics infrastructure and bringing Kazakh entrepreneurs to the marketplace platform.
