Russia is ready to share its border clearance experience with Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, Russian state news agency TASS reported, citing Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko.
The official cited the experience of border demarcation between Russia and Kazakhstan as an example.
“The situation on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border remains turbulent, which causes Russia the most serious concern. We consistently stand for the resolution of all disputes that arise there exclusively by peaceful means: strict observance of the ceasefire agreements, the withdrawal of forces and military equipment, and the prevention of inciting ethnic hatred, including in the media,” the Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia said.
Earlier, Russian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Nikolai Udovichenko noted that Russia is ready to assist Dushanbe and Bishkek in the delimitation and demarcation of a common section of the state border. In particular, according to him, Russia can assist Bishkek and Dushanbe in working with cartographic materials if the parties agree to involve Russian experts.
