Kazakhstan to launch a project to employ the unemployed of pre-retirement age-VLAST.KZ

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Kazakhstan, in order to provide employment for unemployed people of pre-retirement age, plans to launch a special project “Silver Age” as part of the National Project for the Development of Entrepreneurship for 2021-2025, the press service of the department reports.
“Currently, work is underway to develop a regulatory legal act that regulates the organization and financing of the project. The NLA will provide for a number of requirements for employers and employees. Thus, enterprises and organizations of all forms of ownership, operating for more than one year, and making regular tax and other social contributions, as well as not having overdue wage arrears, will take part in the project.
It is expected that 5,000 people will be covered by the project annually. Jobs under the project will have to be created outside of permanent jobs and vacancies. At the same time, they should not be in hard work, in work with harmful and (or) dangerous working conditions and in professions / occupations belonging to the group of low-skilled workers.
