The average salary of agricultural workers in 2021 increased by 15.5%. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Igor Brylo during a meeting of the collegium of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, BelTA has learned.
“Favorable price environment, together with the measures taken for financial recovery and state support for agricultural organizations, contributed to the improvement of the agricultural economy. In 2021, revenue from product sales increased by 14.8%, profit increased by 39%. The increase in revenue and profit contributed to the growth of wages workers in agriculture. For the first time, the level of wages in agriculture has crossed the thousandth mark. On average, Br1,062, or 115.5% by 2020, has been accrued per year,” said Igor Brylo.
