There is no reason to suggest that the essence, the nature and the level of Armenian-Russian relations may change for the worse, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin said in an interview with Armenia’s Public Television.
“On the contrary, the aspirations, the intentions of both sides, and even the new challenges facing the world and the region now indicate that our allied relations are in demand more than ever,” he said.
Recalling that the relations between the two countries are of a strategic and allied nature, the ambassador stressed that both sides have the political will not only to preserve but also to strengthen and further develop them.
“A lot of facts testify to this, including the active development of economic ties,” he said.
