Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan Daler Jum’a discussed the import of oil products from Iran during his working visit to Tehran on March 1-4 this year.
“The visit took place in agreement with the head of state and on behalf of the head of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan,” Jamshed Sadulloev, head of the secretariat of the Ministry of Energy, told Asia-Plus.
“In addition, he noted, the minister discussed with his Iranian counterparts an agreement between the Sangtuda-Sangobskaya HPP and the Barki Tojik OJSC on the purchase of electricity in accordance with the provisions of the electricity supply protocol signed by the parties. Negotiations were also held with the Iranian side to resolve problems at the Sangtudeh-2 HPP and other aspects of this joint project.”
