According to Kuleba, Ukraine is looking for diplomatic solutions, but while they do not exist, we will “selflessly, sacrificing ourselves, protect our land, our people from Russian aggression.”
Following talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that Kyiv could not stop the war if the aggressor country did not want to do so.
Kuleba said this at a press conference following the talks.
“We cannot stop the war if the country that carried out the aggression and the attack has no desire to do so,” Kuleba said.
He said that during the talks he heard that the ceasefire was tied to Russia in compliance with the demands made by Russian President Vladimir Putin to Ukraine.
