The Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan and the National Railway Company of Korea signed a Memorandum on the construction of a subway in Dushanbe.

The signing ceremony of the document took place on March 14 online, the press center of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tatarstan reports. The memorandum was signed by the Minister of Transport of Tajikistan, Azim Ibrokhim, and the Chairman of the National Railway Company of the Republic of Korea, Kim Hangyong.

During the ceremony, Azim Ibrohim said: “The signing of the Memorandum will create a legal basis for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation and will strengthen bilateral cooperation between departments.”

The Minister of Transport of the country also noted that the Memorandum will expand the possibilities of attracting the National Railway Company of the Republic of Korea to implement other investment projects in the transport sector of regional importance.
