On March 18, a trial was held in the case of human rights activists who rallied near the Russian embassy in Bishkek.
In particular, the court considered the case of Dinara Oshurahunova. During the trial, it was revealed that she was facing two charges.
Earlier it was reported that she was charged under the article “Petty hooliganism.” However, when answering the lawyer’s questions in court, the law enforcement officer could not list exactly what violations she had committed. After that, the prosecutor asked to recognize her guilty and impose a fine of 5,500 soms.
The judge, returning from the deliberation room, ruled that there were no offenses in Oshurahunova’s actions.
However, it turned out in court that she was also charged under another article – for disobedience to law enforcement officers. The trial in this case will take place on March 25.
