The Supreme Court upheld the decision of the Bishkek Administrative Court on the legality of deregistration of candidate Abdurakhmankhadzhi Murtazaliev. This was reported to Kloop by the press service of the Supreme Court.
Murtazaliev won the majority of votes in the Sverdlovsk single-mandate constituency. The Central Election Commission explained to Kloop that it is not yet known whether there will be a repeat election in this constituency or not.
“There is a recount. If the number of votes for Abdurakhmankhadzhi Murtazaliev exceeds one third, a second vote will be scheduled within a month. If not, the mandate will go to Shailoobek Atazov, who comes after Murtazaliev in terms of the number of votes,” the CEC said.
On March 15, the Administrative Court of Bishkek dismissed the complaint of candidate for deputy Abdurakhmankhadzhi Murtazaliev against the decision of the CEC, which had previously canceled his registration as a candidate.
