Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasises that there is no hope that Russia will stop on its own – it can only be forced to do so.
As an UNIAN correspondent reports, he said this in his speech to the South Korean Parliament, which was broadcast during the information telethon.
“There is no and cannot be any hope that Russia will simply stop on its own. There is no and cannot be any hope that reason will prevail and the Russian leadership will simply refuse to continue this war. Russia can only be forced to do this, one can only be forced to seek peace. stop mocking people, force them to respect the independent life of neighboring peoples, force them to leave the territory of Ukraine,” Zelensky stressed.
According to the president, despite the unprecedented sanctions already applied against Russia, it “does not yet feel that it must stop.”
