The FSB of the Russian Federation announced the arrest of members of a neo-Nazi group banned in Russia, who were planning, by order of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the murder of journalist Vladimir Solovyov.

“The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has detained a group of members of the neo-Nazi terrorist organization National Socialism/White Power, banned in Russia, who are citizens of Russia who, on the instructions of the Security Service of Ukraine, were planning to kill a public figure, well-known journalist Volodymyr Solovyov,” the Center for Public Relations of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation reported on Monday.

The department noted that “members of the criminal group give confessions about the preparation of the murder of Solovyov, after which they planned to hide abroad.”
