The member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation ( CSTO ) do not support Russia and do not express a desire to participate in the war against Ukraine.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Recall, the CSTO is a military-political international organisation, which includes Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan.
“Despite the insistence of the Russian Federation, the CSTO members do not want to make a decision to conduct peacekeeping operations outside their countries. Including on the territory of the so-called “DNR” and “LNR,” the intelligence report says. “But the CSTO members may consider the possibility of a limited deployment of national contingents on the territory of the Russian Federation or Belarus, but only after the official announcement of Ukraine’s attack on their territory.”
