Kyrgyzstan claims that Turkey handed over Bayraktars to Tajikistan, despite requests from the Kyrgyz side not to do so. The Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan did not confirm this information, but did not refute it either.
Information about the purchase by Tajikistan of “Bayraktarov” was condemned on April 27 at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, where the deputies considered the candidacy of Jeenbek Kulubaev for appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
The deputies, in particular, asked him: is it true that Turkey has sent military unmanned “Bayraktar” to Tajikistan.
“We also received this information and instructed the ambassador and other bodies to study the data. But we have previously asked Turkey not to provide military equipment to a neighboring country for the time being due to unresolved problems. But they answered that it was a business,” Kulubaev replied.
