Over the past day in Kazakhstan, 2842 cases with a positive PCR were detected, Total.kz reported.
Eight regions of Kazakhstan are in the “red” zone for coronavirus, the news organisation said.
According to the matrix for assessing the epidemiological situation in the regions of Kazakhstan as of April 11, Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Atyrau, Aktobe, Akmola, Almaty, West Kazakhstan and Karaganda regions are in the “red” zone. In the “yellow” zone: Shymkent, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan, Mangistau regions. The rest of the regions are in the green zone, according to Total.kz.
Over the past day, 2,842 cases with a positive PCR for coronavirus infection have been identified in Kazakhstan.

- Kostanay region – 33;
- Mangystau region – 30;
- Turkestan region – 24.
Thus, a total of 269,519 cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in the country today.
“As of April 11, 32,899 people continue to receive treatment from CVI (32,241 CVI + and 658 CVI–), of which 12,003 patients are in hospitals, and 20,896 patients are being treated at the outpatient level. Of the patients with CVI + and CVI–, 546 patients are in serious condition, 163 patients are in a state of extreme severity; on the ventilator – 99 patients, ”the press service of the Ministry of Health said in Telegram.
According to the ministry, 24 people died per day: 19 – from COVID-19, the total number of deaths – 3221; 5 – from pneumonia, the total number of deaths is 727.
