Remittances to Georgia rise 50% yr/yr to $188 mln in March
Remittances to Georgia rose 49.5 percent year-on-year to $188.2 million in March, the country’s National Bank said.
Russia ranks first with $32.2 million of money transfers, followed by Italy ($30.5 million) and the United States ($24.1 million).
In March 2021, $24.9 million were sent abroad from Georgia in March, which is 21.9 percent more than a year ago.
