In the first quarter of this year, 70 joint-stock companies and limited liability companies with the participation of Azerbaijani capital were established in Turkey, the bulk (62 companies) of which settled in the city of Istanbul, Turan reported.

According to the Association of Chambers of Commerce and Exchange of Turkey (TOBB), the aggregate primary capital of the companies created in January-March this year amounted to 14 million 349 thousand manats, 90% of which came from Azerbaijan. For the comparable period of 2020, Azerbaijani investors founded 39 companies in Turkey, in which they invested 5.1 million manats at the first stage.
