On the morning of May 11, there was an attack on school No. 175 in Kazan. According to the Interior Ministry and the Investigative Committee, the attacker was a 19-year-old young man. He was detained and a criminal case was opened under the article “murder of two or more persons”. Various sources claim that it was Ilnaz Galyaviev, who previously studied at this gymnasium. The version about the presence of his accomplices is also being considered, news.ru reported. 

As a result of the attack, nine people were killed, according to the latest data, and another 20 were injured. The victims of the attack were eighth graders: four boys and three girls.
