With the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Saudi Arabia, a video conference was held between representatives of the Saudi airline Flynas, the Seera travel agency and relevant ministries and departments of Uzbekistan, Uzdaily.uz reported, citing Dunyo news agency report.
During the videoconference, the parties exchanged views on the practical results of fulfilling the tasks arising from the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Uzbekistan Airways and Saudi Flynas on tourism development during the visit of the Saudi delegation to Bukhara in January to participate in a business forum. Further prospects for cooperation were also discussed.
According to Uzdaily.uz, Flynas representatives announced that from 12 June 2021 they plan to launch regular flights on the Riyadh-Tashkent-Riyadh route three times a week.
It should be noted that the government of Saudi Arabia since May 17 has allowed its fellow citizens to travel to states where the situation with the coronavirus has improved.
