Capital investment in Azerbaijan’s fixed assets decreased by 8.7 percent year-on-year to 3.753 billion manats ($2.2 billion) in January-April of 2021, the State Statistics Committee said.

Investments decreased by 0.7 percent in the oil and gas sector and by 15.2 percent in the non-oil sector.

Around 73 percent of total investments had been used for production purposes, particularly on construction and installation works. Around 57 percent of total investment were domestic funds.
