Azerbaijan’s trade surplus at $2.835 billion in January-April-Customs Office
Azerbaijan’s positive trade balance was $2.835 billion in the first four months of 2021, down 3 percent from the same period last year, the State Customs Office said.
The country’s trade turnover totalled $9.893 billion, up 2.1 percent from January-April 2020.
Exports equalled $6.364 billion, up 0.9 percent from January-April 2020, while imports stood at $3.529 billion, up 4.3 percent from the same period last year.
The country’s main exports were products of the oil and gas sector, while main imports were equipment and spare parts, food products and vehicles.
Azerbaijan’s main export countries in January-April were Italy, Turkey and India. Main import countries were Russia, Turkey and China.
