As Mayer-Harting noted, the OSCE constantly monitors the human rights situation in Moldova, and specifically, the cases of arrests and wanted list in Transnistria for posts on social networks and expression of opinion. He said that these issues are constantly raised during the meetings with the negotiators from Tiraspol, NEWSMAKER.MD reported.
“When we have the opportunity to meet with negotiators from the left bank, we always bring up the topic. I think one of the main tasks is to speak directly with our negotiators from the other side. This is not necessarily the process that I am ready to talk about here in detail, but you can be sure that we are systematically returning to this, ”assured Mayer-Harting.

Recall that in 2019-2020 in Transnistria, several people were put or put on the wanted list because of posts on social networks, allegedly containing insults to the local leader Vadim Krasnoselsky, or on charges of calling for extremism for posts on the same social networks.
