Large oil and gas processing enterprises of Uzbekistan have suspended work due to a failure in the power supply system, Turan reported, citing the press service of the Uzbekneftegaz company.

The failure occurred due to the shutdown of the power unit of the Talimarjan thermal power plant. As a result, the work of the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex, the Bukhara Oil Refinery and the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant was suspended.

The work was stopped also at several gas producing fields. At 11 compressor stations, 34 gas-pumping units were shut down.
