The IMF expects Ukraine to make more progress in obtaining the tranche-UNIAN

The International Monetary Fund expects more progress from Ukraine in order for our country to receive the second tranche under the stand-by program, UNIAN reported.
This was stated by IMF spokesman Jerry Rice during a briefing.
“Some progress has been made, but more is needed to complete the first review,” he said.
According to Rice, the IMF continues to hold discussions with Ukraine on achieving the goals needed to allocate the second tranche of the loan.
Earlier, IMF spokesman Jerry Rice said Ukraine needed to do more to ensure the stability of the financial system, central bank independence, the fight against corruption and other reforms agreed with the Fund.
