Azerbaijan, Iran agree on construction of a road bridge between both countries
Azerbaijan and Iran agreed to construct a road bridge and a pedestrian crossing over the Astarachay river, the ex-Soviet country’s government said.
The bridge over the Astarachay river is seen as an important component of the North-South international transport corridor, which will increase bilateral and transit road transport and trade.
The project is estimated at 4.7 million euros and will be implemented within 1-1.5 years.
