The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan held negotiations with the delegation of the KEA Korea Institute for Climate Change (KICC) headed by the president of the company Kim Gap Chol, UZ DAILY reported.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation were discussed, in particular in the field of bioenergy, as well as advanced training of employees of economic sectors with the involvement of Korean experts and energy audit companies.
The head of the Korean companies proposed the implementation of a number of pilot projects in Uzbekistan on a grant basis.
In particular, it was proposed to create a training centre for energy managers and a bioenergy cluster “Bio Energy Center”, a project to determine the degree of energy efficiency in the production of the main products of energy-intensive enterprises.
