In the first quarter of 2021, the recovery of prices at the global market, the expansion of non-oil exports, as well as positive trends in the movement of capital and finance had a positive impact on the balance of payments of Azerbaijan, according to the Central Bank, TURAN reported.

It ought to be noticed that in the first quarter of this year, a surplus of the current account of balance of payments of Azerbaijan in the amount of $ 627.7 million was formed.

According to the Central Bank, in the finance movement the surplus made up $ 15 million, and asset reserves increased by $ 325.9 million.
