Remittances to Georgia rose 19.3 percent year-on-year to $201.9 million in June, the country’s National Bank said.

Russia ranks first with $39.1 million of money transfers, followed by Italy ($31.8 million) and the United States ($25 million).

In June 2021, $26.5 million were sent abroad from Georgia, which is 20.8 percent more than a year ago.
