At an extraordinary meeting on Thursday, the Armenian parliament approved the ratification of an agreement with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on the construction of the Vanadzor-Bagratashen road, ARKA reported.

As noted by the Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Christine Galechyan, the amendments to the loan agreement signed on April 7, 2021 provide for the extension of the loan agreement until December 31, 2022.

“The completion of construction work is planned to be extended until August 31, 2021, the deadline for eliminating deficiencies is set until August 31, 2022. Then, an audit and final payments on the loan will be carried out,” Galechyan said.
